Alison, a native of New Hampshire, is currently a member of the Utah Opera Apprentice Ensemble. In addition to singing opera scenes throughout the state, she has performed with the Utah Symphony and will be involved in the Utah Opera's production of Jenufa. Alison recently completed her Master's degree at DePaul University in Chicago where she studied with Susanne Mentzer. While a student at DePaul, she performed Cunegonde in Candide, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, and Virtù in L'Incoronazione di Poppea. In 2002 Alison was a principal member of the Alan Stone Debut Artists, a coveted 1-year position where she received weekly private instruction from Mr. Stone, founder of the Chicago Opera Theater. During the summers of 2002 and 2003, she was a participant in the Intermezzo Young Artist Program, singing Nannetta in Falstaff and Adele in Die Fledermaus. Alison's concert work includes Haydn’s Missa Brevis and Lord Nelson Mass, as well as selections from Handel's Messiah.
